It is also packed with chia seed seeds which contain a substantial amount of minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium and trace amounts of zinc, copper, and manganese which our bodies need. Another important class of healthy substances present in chia seeds are fatty acids including Omega-3 and Omega-6 and fiber. Because of these properties Chia is often used for boosting inmune system and loosing weight. Essential fatty acids that are contained in chia, can’t be found in such a concentration anywhere in the nature, while the amount of antioxidants is much more than in blueberries and other berries.
